Wake up calls

My husband is away this week which leaves me alone with the orange haired monsters. Every time he leaves the big one stops sleeping which is less than ideal for me. Last night while we were up for the third time I couldn't help but think wishfully about my pre-children days when I saw 2 am from the other side. Now the only time I see 2 am is when I'm thinking "is it too early to just suck it up and get up for the day" as opposed to "do I have enough change left in my pocket for a hotdog and a taxi".
